Dore Festival 2011 and Scout & Guide Gala
The 2011 Dore Festival was held from Saturday 25th June to Sunday 10th July, with the Scout and Guide Gala on Saturday 9th July.
This year there were three well-dressings, produced by the Guides, Scouts and Dore Primary School, and Dore Methodist Church celebrated its 150th anniversary. See below for some photos.

| 25th June - Sat | 9km round walk from Ashover to Easton Hall and Ogston Reservoir organised by Wyvern Walkers. All welcome. |
| 9.30am | Meet at the Old School, 9.30am. Return mid-afternoon, bring sandwiches. |
| 26th June - Sun | Village Open Gardens, Organised by Dore Garden Club |
| 2pm to 6pm | Tickets £3 from first garden visited or from Valerie of Dore. |
| 27th June - 1st July | Preparation of Village and Guide Well Dressing Boards |
